What Do You Get & How Does It Work?

What Arrives Each Month

Each month, a quiet envelope arrives in your mailbox. Inside you'll find 8 Reflection Cards and 4 Thinking Cards, printed on thick beautiful cotton stock with carefully chosen art and type that feel like pages from a small press.

Thinking Cards

The Thinking Cards are deep-question conversation starters—simple prompts designed for evenings with friends, long walks with someone you trust, or time alone when you want to think more clearly.

Reflection Cards

The Reflection Cards carry short essays, questions, and Stoic passages paired with classic imagery. They're meant to be read slowly, kept out where you'll see them, and returned to across the month—something you sit with, not skim. Each card is paired with a THINK question and a WRITE prompt, giving you a gentle way to pause, consider what the card is really asking of you, and then put your own words on the page.

How It Fits Into Your Life

You don't have to follow a schedule. Most people leave the month's cards on a desk, nightstand, or kitchen counter and reach for one when the day finally goes quiet. A Reflection Card might nudge you to notice what's actually happening in your life and put it into words; a Thinking Card might open a conversation you've been circling for years.

What This Really Gives You.

Each envelope gives you a reason to slow down, think clearly, and say things you’ve been carrying around but never quite put into words.

You get space to see your life from the outside for a moment, to name what’s actually happening, and to decide what you want to do with it. You get questions that make dinner with friends, a walk with your partner, or twenty quiet minutes alone feel less like time to kill and more like time that counts.

Over the months, these envelopes become a small archive of who you were, what you were wrestling with, and how your thinking changed—a physical record that reminds you you’re not just getting through life, you’re actually paying attention to it.

Testimonials

  • Stays with me all week

“I didn’t realize how much I missed reading on paper until this showed up. The Reflection Cards feel like tiny essays that stay with me all week, and the Thinking Cards have turned a few ordinary evenings into the best conversations I’ve had all year. It’s the only subscription I actually slow down for.”
    — Laura M.

  • No more scrolling

“My wife and I keep the month’s cards on our kitchen counter. One Reflection Card in the morning with coffee, one Thinking Card on Friday night after dinner. It’s become a simple rhythm we both look forward to. No screens, no more scrolling, just us actually talking about what matters.”
    — Daniel & Grace

  • Questions are deep

“I brought the Thinking Cards to a small dinner with friends and we ended up talking and debating for three hours! These questions are deep without feeling heavy-handed or cheesy. Everyone asked where I got them. It feels less like a game and more like an excuse to finally have the conversations we’ve all been wanting.”
    Jonathan S.

  • Finaly slowing down.

"As someone who works a lot and gets pulled into social media too easily, my mind is cluttered; the Reflection Cards give me a calm place to land. They offer just enough structure to guide my thinking without telling me what to believe, and they quietly help me sort through what actually matters in my life."
    Kelly S.

A Commitment To Change

We built The Thinking Class because speed was deciding our thoughts for us. Paper resets the tempo. Each month, an envelope becomes a ritual—space to slow down, test assumptions, and widen perspective. You read, you reflect, you return. Over time, this practice expands your thinking, challenges bias, and quietly changes how you move through your days and years ahead.

Most people read one card at a time—slowly. You can keep them on your desk, nightstand, or kitchen counter, and use them as a starting point for journaling, prayer, or quiet thinking. They’re meant to be read, not rushed.

Thinking Cards are designed for conversation and deep thinking. Pull them out at dinner with friends, on a long walk with someone you trust, or alone when you want a question to sit with. There’s no right order; you can return to them whenever you like.

Nothing expires. The cards are designed to stack into a small archive you can come back to later. You can move at your own pace—weekly, monthly, or in occasional bursts when life allows.

The Thinking Class is intentionally print-only. No apps, no dashboards, no logins—just paper, ink, and a slower rhythm
